It's a good point. I'm happy either way, but if we include the ',' in
the group, does the last group need to have a '?' after the ',' ? i.e.
shouldn't it be

    diff_header_regex = re.compile(r'@@ -([0-9]+)(,[0-9]+)? \+([0-9]+)(,[0-9]+)? @@')
