Yes, I have updated Jaocpo's application to the latest public-api and it
is hosted at :
https://github.com/kbingham/simple-cam
I'm sorry this hasn't really been published anywhere, especially as it
is becoming more and more useful to have, (this is now the second time
I've sent that link) - but I'm hoping to get the 'official' location
moved to something more like git.libcamera.org rather than my arbitrary
github account ;-)

I know the RPi guys are working on their own capture utilities using the
libcamera API, so I expect we'll have more examples soon too ;-)
