What happens when toString() is called with an MBUS_FMT which is not in
the table?
I fear this might have to be guarded with a check which will print the
utils::hex(mbus_code, 4) for unknown codes.
(also, I don't think the brackets are required?)

toString on unknown formats ... so it indicates that unhandled formats
