I think the following would be more readable:

			void *addr = mmap(nullptr, info.mapLength, mmapFlags,
					  MAP_SHARED, fd, 0));
			if (addr == MAP_FAILED) {
				...
			}

			info.address = static_cast<uint8_t *>(addr);

Overall the patch looks quite elegant to me :-)
