[libcamera-devel] [FOSDEM] Camera on FOSS mobile devices BoF

Hello list,
   I'll have this message circulate here in order to gather interest
for proposing a time slot in the https://gitlab.com/fosdem_mobile/devroom
track at the forthcoming fosdem 2022 (which again, will be held
virtually).

The idea is to gather together for 60 or 90 minutes, have a status
check about the state of camera support on FOSS-powered mobile devices
and hopefully set straight a few discussion points we've been having
on list/channel about how to better support them.

While the BoF will be of course open to any partecipant, having
developers from the two main FOSS-powered mobile devices (which I know
of, at least) would be great. Developers working on Librem5 and
PinePhone camera support are then encouraged to reply to this email to
notify their interest and propose discussion topics. The same applies
to users/developers of similar projects I might not be aware of at this
time, which we would be very glad to know more about.

Feel free to reach out by replying here or on the irc channel.

The submission deadline is set to 23-Dec-2021, by that date I would
like to know if the proposal meet any interest and, if it does, try to
nail down a possible list of discussion points.
