I assume you're referring to
https://bugs.libcamera.org/show_bug.cgi?id=200. The latest comment in
that bug report indicates that ldconfig didn't help.

I'm not opposed to merging this, but you're right that I'm not thrilled
to turn README.rst into a Linux 101 tutorial.

Let's first figure out what the issue in bug #200 is.
