Thank you very much. Would it be better for me to wait until they're
rebased?

Thank you very much, I haven't compiled the kernel myself or used DT
overlays before so I'm not sure what to do. I think I should install
dependencies then get the default Ubuntu .config file and build from
there but I'm not sure and I'm not sure the most efficient way of
loading the DT overlays (I don't want to do anything that may
accidentally increase boot time).
Is it more sensible for me to compile the kernel locally on the i.MX8MP
board with 2 GB RAM and leave it for as long as it takes or would it be
more sensible for me to do this on a more powerful machine?
at the moment
uname -r #gives 6.1.22 which seems a very old kernel given the pace of
libcamera development
I tried Debix's Ubuntu and Yocto distributions because i thought they
might have Debix BSPs but maybe I'd be better to start with a more
generic distribution?
