Hey Pavel,

I personally can recommend postmarketOS edge here. It supports lots of 
devices, has recent kernels (6.14 instead of 4.19...), already enables 
necessary kernel options like udmabuf, the dev tools are up-to-date - 
and it has a very active community.

I personally use it and build libcamera (and Pipewire if necessary) 
locally on the devices, simply using "meson install". It also ships some 
downstream patches that haven't made it upstream yet, see 
https://gitlab.postmarketos.org/postmarketOS/pmaports/-/tree/master/temp/libcamera
